No amount of restarting the app in car or on phone rectified the problem, so I remained Spotifyless until I seen the '30sec restart+App Update' procedure on here and hey presto working Spotify again.until the following day! Same story, stuck on loading screen until I did the 30sec procedure again and then working Spotify.
